Financial Controller (Remote) | PE-Backed Professional Services
Remote, UK | Up to £90k
Camino Search is partnered with a private equity-backed professional services business to appoint a Financial Controller. Following investment, the business is scaling quickly, and finance is central to delivering its growth plan. This is a fully remote role.
Reporting to the CFO, you will own the accounting and control environment and play a key part in strengthening reporting across the group.
The role
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end close across a multi-entity group, including consolidation and intercompany
- Own and optimise Sage Intacct, including dimensions, reporting, automation and system improvements
- Manage revenue recognition across time-and-materials, fixed-fee and retainer engagements, including WIP and deferred income
- Oversee working capital, billing and cash collection, with a focus on lock-up and debtor days
- Prepare board, sponsor and lender reporting, including covenant compliance
- Manage statutory accounts and the external audit, and lead and develop a small remote team

About you
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with Financial Controller or senior Group Reporting experience
- Strong, hands-on Sage Intacct experience is essential
- Background in professional services or another people-based, project-driven business
- Experience in a PE-backed environment and the reporting pace that comes with it
- Self-motivated and comfortable leading a team and building process remotely
