Financial Controller
Fast-Growth Listed Fintech | London | £85,000 - £95,000 + Bonus + hybrid working
Radley Green is partnering exclusively with a fast-growth, publicly listed fintech business to appoint a Financial Controller as they continue to scale.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, high-growth environment at a genuinely exciting stage, taking ownership of financial reporting, controls and processes at a business operating at pace and under public market scrutiny. You will lead a team of 3 direct reports as part of this role.
The Role
- Lead the preparation of accurate, timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including group consolidation
- Own and continuously strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring processes are robust and scalable as the business grows
- Manage the year-end audit process and act as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and listed-company reporting requirements
- Drive improvements to finance systems and processes to support a fast-growing, complex business
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support key decisions
- Manage and develop a team of 3 direct reports

About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong technical accounting background
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally gained within a listed company or a fast-scaling business Fintech business
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls and process design
- Experience managing external audit relationships
- Track record of managing and developing a team
- A hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
