Financial Controller with succession to Head of Finance – Leeds
£80,000–£90,000

You’re not looking. But this one will make you think twice.

Some businesses grow. A few businesses scale. But once in a while, you find a business that’s alive.

This business is built on energy, ambition and a refusal to play small. They have created brands people recognise and are entrepreneurial, fast-moving with momentum, personality and pace, and they want someone who can help steer it.

This is a company that backs ideas, moves quickly, and thrives on people who bring challenge, insight and energy. And now they’re looking for a Financial Controller who can match that ambition and oversee a small team to build confidence and capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the Role

You’ll lead the rhythm of performance across the estate: weekly insight, monthly reviews, site accountability, and the conversations that actually change behaviour and partner with Operations to solve problems, not just highlight them. You are coming into a good business with the right foundations but will support to modernise processes, sharpen reporting, utilise AI and bring pace to the finance engine.
