Financial Controller
Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day per week)
Package: £90,000 - £100,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed multi-site business seeking a Financial Controller to support a key division through its next phase of expansion.

The business operates a multi-site model and continues to invest heavily in growth, creating an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance leader to play a pivotal role in professionalising the finance function, enhancing reporting capabilities and supporting operational decision-making.
This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence both financial performance and the wider customer journey through meaningful insight and analysis.

The Role

Reporting into the CFO, you will take ownership of financial control, reporting and performance insight across the division, ensuring robust processes are in place while providing commercially focused analysis to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of monthly management accounts and board-ready financial reporting
  • Full balance sheet ownership, reconciliations and financial control
  • Managing high-volume B2C revenue transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Leading revenue reconciliation processes across multiple sites and systems
  • Development and delivery of KPI reporting, identifying trends and opportunities to improve performance
  • Providing analysis and insight into customer journeys, conversion metrics and operational performance
  • Business partnering with operational leaders and senior stakeholders across the division
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Driving process improvement initiatives across finance and wider business operations
  • Supporting systems implementations, upgrades and finance transformation projects
  • Enhancing financial controls, reporting processes and management information capabilities
  • Managing and developing junior finance team members where applicable

Candidate Profile

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong experience managing high-volume B2C revenue transactions and complex reconciliations
  • Demonstrable track record of driving process improvements and system implementations
  • Advanced KPI reporting capability, with evidence of delivering actionable commercial insights
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence non-finance audiences
  • Experience within a multi-site environment highly desirable
  • Healthcare, consumer or other high-volume transactional sectors advantageous
