About the Role
A highly successful Private Equity backed Consumer businesses with a superb brand profile, a sizeable turnover and superb profitability is seeking to hire a Financial Controller. Our client is hiring a broad FC reporting to the Head of Finance to lead with breadth in responsibilities across Finance and other areas. This opportunity for you will be as an integral member of the finance function and be part of the strategy to take the company to their next exit.
Responsibilities
As the Financial Controller, you will report to the CFO. You will support senior management in driving the success of the organisation and this will be a broad role. You will be leading financial reporting, controls, and compliance; striving to continually improve processes and systems. Specifically, this will include:

Due to the nature of this role, you will have a lot of exposure to senior stakeholder and non-finance. You will manage a team underneath you and be involved in the growth of the business to support senior management on ad-hoc strategic projects and around new sites.

Requirements
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their skills in a hands-on, fast-growing, changing environment. You will be a qualified accountant who will ideally possess Consumer sector experience but that is not a pre-requisite.
Compensation
The role is paying a strong basic salary, bonus, and package with hybrid working.
Location
The company is based in Central London (zone 1)
