Role: Financial Controller
Salary: £120,000 - £140,000 plus bonus
A large Listed business is looking to hire a Financial Controller to lead the consolidated reporting for one of their European divisions.
This is a broad Controllership role which includes the consolidated forecasting and budgeting for the division alongside the quarterly consolidated reporting and other ad hoc responsibilities like accounting for acquisitions.
This role will manage a team but the culture of the business is that people are hands on, even at a senior level so you need to be willing to "do the doing" as well as take a step back and see the bigger picture.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small team and develop these individuals
- Ownership of the quarterly consolidated reporting for the division
- Review of results from entities across multiple jurisdictions and post consolidation journals as well as analyse and present to Leadership on the consolidated results
- Co-ordinate and lead the quarterly Forecasting and Budgeting processes
- Oversee the month-end reporting process for legal entities - including sign off for the month-end reconciliations
- Review monthly VAT filings and other relevant reporting
- Lead the accounting for acquisitions, restructures and other significant transactions within the Division
- Build relationships with contacts across different jurisdictions and business areas
