Role Description
The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, responsible for overseeing the financial health and integrity of ModSafe UK & Europe. This role manages the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. The Financial Controller will lead the accounting function, including general ledger oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

- Monitoring financial performance
- Supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights
- Liaising with external auditors and advisors
- Implementing robust financial controls and processes
- Collaborating closely with operational and commercial teams to align financial planning with business growth and safety-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Accounting and Finance, with experience managing core finance and accounting functions.
- Demonstrated capability in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and compliance.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, support forecasting, and provide insight for business decisions.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in a similar senior finance role.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and solid Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- Proven ability to design and maintain internal controls, budgeting processes, and cash flow management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or safety-related sectors is beneficial but not required.
