Financial Controller | Lincolnshire | Hybrid Working | Up to £80,000 + Benefits (DOE)

An Outstanding Opportunity to Join a Growing Manufacturing Business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Controller to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Lincolnshire. The company has established a strong position within its sector through innovation, investment and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. With ambitious plans for continued growth, they are seeking a commercially focused finance leader who can provide robust financial control, support operational decision-making and help drive business performance.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, this is a highly visible role offering genuine influence across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional reporting role.

You'll take ownership of the finance function, lead and develop an established finance team and provide the financial insight needed to support a dynamic and evolving business. The role offers excellent breadth, combining strong financial stewardship with commercial involvement across the wider organisation. Leading a finance team that includes qualified, part-qualified and transactional finance professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring the finance function continues to support the business as it grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
