Financial Controller - TV/Film
Award-winning production company is looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Financial Controller to join a highly diverse and creative team and own and develop a high-functioning finance division.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a fit-for-purpose control environment to underpin the group's financial accounting, reporting, and risk management operations
- Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements
- Own transactional finance, payroll, treasury, and cash flow management (AP & AR), transforming and automating these areas
- Oversee financial compliance, including VAT returns, statutory accounts, and corporation tax filings
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and funding bodies as required
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial systems to support efficient operations
- Mentor and develop a high-functioning finance team and contribute to a collaborative and professional wider finance function

Skills/Attributes
- Professionally qualified accountant
- Previous team management experience
- Comfortable with multi-currency transactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple issues/tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience in the TV/Film industries is strongly preferred
