Financial Controller
£500 per day | Inside IR35

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth professional services business looking to appoint an experienced Interim Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function and improve the quality, control and visibility of financial information across the business.
Reporting into the CFO, you will lead the core finance function while driving improvements across reporting, controls, cash management and forecasting. This is a hands-on role requiring someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused media environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close and delivery of accurate management accounts.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Improve financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
- Provide commercial insight around business performance and profitability.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and operations.
- Oversee statutory accounts, audit and compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements across finance systems and processes.
- Manage and develop the finance team.

Ideal Profile:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Strong track record as a Financial Controller.
- Previous media, advertising, creative or agency experience is essential.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced and evolving business.
- Hands-on, commercially minded and able to improve processes while maintaining strong financial control.
