Mondrian Alpha is partnering with a growing Private Equity firm that has doubled in size over the last few years. As a result of this growth, they are looking to hire an ambitious Financial Controller who can oversee the team and help to scale the finance function.
This is a hands-on role working closely with the Head of Finance, owning the management company's day-to-day finance and coordinating outsourced providers across APAC. You will lead the multi-entity month-end close, reviewing journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany eliminations prepared by a junior accountant, and deliver monthly budget and forecast packs with insightful commentary. This will feed into the annual statutory accounts under UK GAAP/IFRS, and you will lead communication with auditors. The team uses Xero and are looking to maximise its use across the group, helping to streamline and tighten their control framework. You will also play a lead role in creating automated, standardised reports and developing dashboards.

We are looking for qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally within Financial Services. It is important to be excited by the prospect of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to have some team management experience.
