Financial Controller
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join the finance leadership team of a growing international hospitality and lifestyle business.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Accounting, you will lead all aspects of financial accounting, financial control and statutory compliance across a multi-site, international group. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring robust financial governance while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the year-end audit and statutory accounts process, working closely with external auditors and tax advisers.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close across the group, maintaining strong balance sheet controls and financial integrity.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve financial controls, systems and processes.
- Oversee group cash flow management across UK and international operations.
- Manage the company's insurance programme, including annual renewals, policy amendments and claims.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of financial accountants, working alongside external accounting partners in Europe.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Support senior leadership with financial reporting, governance and process improvements.
