Financial Controller | International Consumer Business
Central London | Hybrid Working
We’re working with an ambitious, fast-moving business to appoint a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller.
This is a broad role combining strong financial control with commercial insight. You’ll take ownership of the monthly close, management and statutory reporting, audit, tax, cash and working-capital reporting, while helping senior leaders turn financial and operational performance into clear, actionable decisions.
The business is going through a period of significant change, including international expansion and the introduction of AI-enabled ways of working across finance and data. You’ll have the opportunity to strengthen controls, improve the quality and speed of reporting, and build scalable models and processes.

Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the monthly management accounts close across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Producing Board reporting covering financial performance, KPIs and unit economics
- Delivering weekly and monthly insight to the leadership team
- Building forecasting models across revenue, retention, costs and cash flow
- Managing the statutory accounts and audit process under FRS 102
- Leading international accounting, tax and compliance activity
- Overseeing accounts payable and managing one direct report
- Improving financial systems, visibility and controls
We’re looking for:

- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong post-qualification experience in financial control
- Experience owning a full management accounts close and Board reporting cycle
- A solid technical accounting background across UK GAAP and IFRS
- Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills
- Experience in a fast-moving, subscription, DTC or growth environment would be particularly relevant
- An AI-first mindset and a genuine interest in improving how finance operates
