Part-Time Financial Controller - Fully Remote

A dynamic, fast-growing, investor-backed fashion business is seeking a fully remote Part-Time Financial Controller to support its next phase of growth.

Supplying leading retailers and partners across multiple international markets, the business has built a strong reputation for design, product quality and customer service. With ambitious growth plans and increasing international complexity, the company is looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller to bring greater financial rigour, reporting capability and strategic insight to the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments and is comfortable combining strong financial control with commercial business partnering. The successful candidate will help build scalable financial processes while providing valuable insight to support decision-making and future growth.

Working 20-25 hours per week and reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function across the UK and European operations. They will work closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders, ensuring robust financial reporting, strong controls and effective management of working capital, inventory and cash flow. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility while remaining highly visible within the organisation's leadership team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
