About Hamilton Bradshaw
Hamilton Bradshaw is the private office of James Caan CBE—renowned entrepreneur, former Dragons’ Den panellist, and visionary investor. Over two decades, we’ve built a reputation for identifying exceptional growth opportunities and creating meaningful value across a diverse portfolio of 30 + businesses spanning private equity, venture capital, real estate, and publicly traded securities.
We’re a lean, high-performing team of seven accomplished professionals, many with 10+ year tenures. We work at the intersection of strategic investing and hands-on portfolio management—where every decision matters and impact is immediate.
The Opportunity
As part of our strategic expansion in 2026, we’re seeking an exceptional Investment Manager to lead our deal evaluation and portfolio oversight function. This is a rare opportunity to work directly on significant capital deployment decisions, mentor founder teams, and drive operational excellence across a premium investment portfolio.
What You’ll Own:
- Investment Analysis & Diligence: Evaluate high-potential acquisition targets, conduct rigorous financial due diligence, stress-test business models, and assess management teams—your analysis directly influences capital allocation decisions
- Active Portfolio Management: Oversee financial performance of our PE and growth investments, attending monthly board meetings, advising founder CEOs, and driving value creation initiatives
- Financial Stewardship: Produce insightful management accounts, prepare board-level reporting, and translate complex financials into strategic insights that guide decision-making
- Strategic Partnership: Work alongside James and our board to shape the firm’s investment strategy and support portfolio companies through critical growth phases
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
