Financial Controller - FMCG - £70,000–£80,000 DOE + Bonus
Permanent Role
Robert Half are partnering with an established and growing SME FMCG business to recruit a Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable working in an SME environment and wants to play a key role in supporting the wider management team.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day finance function and provide valuable financial and commercial insight to the wider business.

- Overseeing core finance operations, including AP and AR
- Management reporting and financial analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet management and reconciliations
- Financial compliance
- Strengthening financial controls
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Supporting the wider management team with financial insight
- Contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth
About You
We are looking for a qualified finance professional who:
- Is ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Has a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience
- Has a strong hands-on SME background
- Is comfortable operating across all areas of a finance function
- Has strong technical accounting and reporting experience
- Is commercially astute and able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Is proactive, hands-on and enjoys improving processes and controls

Salary
£70,000–£80,000 DOE + bonus
