Part-time Financial Controller role - Leeds
About the role:
The role is to work with our clients in their business, this could be within a variety of industries including professional services, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, construction, technology or media. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.
About You:
You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Ideally, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
- management accounts
- balance sheet reconciliations
- budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting
- experience and working knowledge of Xero
- experience of managing and leading a small team
- experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
- you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.

As this role is two days a week (self employed basis) it could work alongside other client work.

£35 per hour
