There is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Teya Group!
Loyverse, short for Loyalty Universe, began operations in 2014 and has grown into a versatile E-POS system that supports small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) worldwide. The platform's product-led growth strategy has enabled it to become a go-to solution for over 3 million registered merchants.
Loyverse offers a complete suite of mobile point-of-sale applications that integrate sales management, inventory control, customer engagement, and business analytics. Designed with SMBs in mind, Loyverse takes a mobile-first approach, making it particularly effective in emerging markets where flexibility and accessibility are critical.
As Loyverse continues to grow internationally and expand its finance capabilities, we're looking for a Financial Controller to help build a scalable, well-controlled finance function that supports the next phase of growth.
Your Mission

This is a hands-on leadership role with broad exposure across the finance function. You'll oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, revenue and operating expense analysis, while strengthening the overall control environment and improving reporting quality.
You'll also play a key role in supporting Loyverse's international expansion, partnering closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Systems teams to ensure new entities, processes, and reporting requirements are successfully implemented and embedded within SAP.
Leading a small finance team based in Cyprus, you'll combine strong technical accounting expertise with commercial thinking, systems knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
