Location: Principally based in South East London

Reporting to: Finance Director

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller - Manufacturing to work within our finance team but to specifically work from the production site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the ‘Production plan’ working closely with the Production teams in the UK and overseas to understand the status of each drop to allow the correct accounting to be applied.
  • Stock accounting:
    • Own Standard costing sheets for all Drops
    • Own the month end stock reconciliation between ERP and the warehouse management system. Understand variances and investigate
    • Track WIP (work in progress) valuation and monitor raw material consumption vs. theoretical usage
    • Ensure Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) accuracy and analyse variance analysis impact on margins
  • Produce Artist returns for all agreed payment shares between Heni and the artist
  • Invoice reviews and approvals
    • Review of and approval of stock related invoices
    • Review of and approval of warehouse subcontractor costs including correct rates and project allocation
  • Work closely with finance team in UK

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with proven experience in manufacturing accounting (minimum 3-5 years) with demonstrated expertise in production costing and cost allocation methodologies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Independent worker
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex cost calculations and modelling
