Financial Controller, Dartford, Kent (Hybrid)
£70,000 - £80,000pa plus bonus and package
Grafton Banks Finance is exclusively assisting a c£10m turnover growing and highly successful SME business in Dartford with the recruitment of a Financial Controller. Candidates must be fully qualified, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA and have previous hands-on SME experience at a Manager or Controller level to apply.
This is the most senior finance position in the company reporting directly to the owners and has the potential to evolve into a Finance Director position over time.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Overall control and responsibility for the accounting function within the company
- Line manage a small team of accounts clerks/assistants
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Act as the primary user/administrator of the accountancy packages
- Duties include Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and General Ledger
- Control of the bank accounts and payment set-ups.
- Managing the company’s various GBP & Euro bank accounts
- Monthly VAT, PAYE returns
- Month End supplier payments
- Balance sheet control
