Are you a finance professional who is passionate about making a difference through strong financial leadership and continuous improvement?
As our Financial Controller you will co-ordinate the delivery of our core finance operations, ensuring consistently high standards of day to day finance operations, reporting and control and play a significant role in the continued development of efficiencies within the function through the successful implementation of a new finance system, helping to transform and modernise finance processes, strengthen controls and deliver lasting improvements across the function.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing digital transformation of the Finance function to maximise its effectiveness within an ambitious and growing business through championing best practice, supporting strategic financial planning and helping develop a modern, customer-focused finance function that delivers real value.
About you:
You're a proactive, hands-on finance professional who is experienced in improving processes and building strong relationships across a business. You combine functional expertise with commercial awareness when supporting stakeholders at all levels and you thrive in a collaborative environment which is focused on continuous improvement to enhance performance, controls and overall customer service to all colleagues across the business.

What you'll bring:
- Full qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and experience in a senior finance role
- Experience supporting finance systems, ERP or transformation projects, with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics desirable
- Strong hands-on experience across core finance operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, month-end and year-end processes
- Experience improving financial controls, reporting processes, policies and ways of working
- Strong accounting knowledge, commercial awareness with advanced Excel/financial analysis skills
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, flexible and hands-on approach
- Ability to coach, support and develop finance colleagues
- Exceptional integrity, discretion and professionalism
