Type: Part-time (2-3 days per week)

About Us
Asymmetrix is a fast-growing, early-stage company focused on becoming the go-to source of truth for the Data & Analytics sector. We have been operating for two years and are backed by seed funding. Our mission is to track and make sense of developments in a rapidly expanding and evolving industry, transforming complexity into clear, meaningful insight for investors, strategists, and advisors.
We are a team of curious problem-solvers with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, client-centric products. Our work environment encourages initiative, thoughtful experimentation, and continuous learning. With a remote-first setup and a genuinely meritocratic culture, we enable individuals to deliver excellent work both autonomously and collaboratively.
At Asymmetrix, progression is based on capability, impact, and professional growth, rather than tenure. This enables us to offer early responsibility and meaningful career development opportunities as the business scales.
The Role
We are seeking a highly autonomous Financial Controller to lead the finance function at Asymmetrix, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a critical, hands-on role focused on building and scaling our internal finance capabilities, and will suit someone excited by creating processes, implementing systems, and establishing financial rigour within a growing business.
You will be responsible for owning the day-to-day finance function, delivering high-quality reporting and analysis, and acting as a trusted partner to leadership. This role combines financial control, commercial insight, and operational improvement, ensuring the business can scale effectively while maintaining strong financial discipline.
What You’ll Do
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
