Job Title: Financial Controller
Pure Resourcing Solutions are partnering with a fast-growing, purpose-led organization based on the outskirts of Cambridge to recruit a Financial Controller to join its Virtual Finance Office Accounts team.
About the Role
This is a client-facing role leading client finance operations, delivering high-quality financial management services, and acting as a trusted advisor—providing insight, strengthening controls, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities. You’ll also support internal team development and help drive exceptional service delivery.

- Own and develop client relationships end-to-end (onboarding to delivery), leading meetings, reviews, and proposals.
- Provide proactive financial advice and commercial insight to stakeholders.
- Take commercial ownership of billing, WIP, recoveries, profitability, budgets, and resourcing.
- Review/sign off management accounts and reporting, ensuring strong quality and compliance.
- Coach and develop junior team members, helping build a high-performing team culture.
- Drive process and tech improvement, improving workflows and controls.
- Identify and manage risk and see issues through to resolution.

Qualifications and Experience
- You will be ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Ideally, have experience working in practice and working with and managing a portfolio of SME clients.
- Be able to demonstrate strong delivery.
