✨ We’re Hiring: QSR Financial Controller | Splendid Hospitality Group ✨
📍Based remotely in the Midlands with travel across the region.
We’re looking for a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Financial Controller to lead financial control, performance insight, and commercial delivery across our growing restaurant business.
Reporting to the Group Operations Finance Director, this is a pivotal role shaping a robust, scalable finance approach across a fast-paced, multi-site QSR business.
You’ll strengthen financial foundations — from reporting accuracy and cost control to inventory, margin performance, and governance — while partnering closely with Operations to turn data into clear, actionable insight that drives profitability and operational excellence.
At the same time, you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis, helping to ensure the business is set up to grow with confidence, discipline, and pace.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
