About our client:

With a heritage spanning more than four decades, this organisation has built an outstanding reputation within their specialist sector.

Operating in a highly specialised environment, the business combines deep technical expertise with an entrepreneurial approach, developing tailored solutions for complex projects across sectors including offshore energy, renewables, research and subsea operations.

Following a period of continued success and investment, the business is now entering an exciting new chapter of growth. This represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join at a pivotal point in the company's journey and play a key role in shaping its future.

Working within a small and highly experienced team, you will have genuine visibility across the business, gaining exposure to operational activities, commercial discussions, tender processes and future investment decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Support tendering and commercial activities by providing financial information and analysis.
  • Ensure appropriate financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks are maintained.

About you:

You will be an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where your contribution is visible and valued.

You will be comfortable working independently, communicating financial information clearly and building strong relationships with colleagues outside of finance.

Experience within a smaller business environment would be highly beneficial, as would exposure to multi-currency operations, cash flow management or project-based organisations.

Most importantly, you will be commercially curious, highly reliable and motivated by the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and influence business performance.

Reasons to consider this opportunity:

  • Join a financially strong, privately owned organisation with a 45-year track record of success.
  • Work directly with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
  • Enjoy genuine commercial exposure beyond traditional finance responsibilities.
  • Become part of a close-knit team with exceptional levels of staff retention.
