Financial Controller

Location: Corby, Office Based
Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per annum + (Depending on experience) & Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time position

The Opportunity

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to play a key role within its senior leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or finalist senior accountant who is looking for far more than a traditional finance role. Alongside taking ownership of the finance function, you will work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve business performance, enhance reporting, develop business systems and help drive strategic growth.

The business is entering an exciting phase of development, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to influence change, improve processes and to potentially progress into the role of FD within the next 18 months to 2 years.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take responsibility for the company’s financial management whilst leading improvements across reporting, systems and operational processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
