Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take full ownership of the UK finance operation, ensuring robust financial control, statutory compliance and high-quality financial reporting. You will lead and develop the UK finance team while partnering closely with commercial stakeholders and the wider global finance function. Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing the UK finance team, including performance management, succession planning and training.
• Ownership of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and financial reporting for UK entities.
• Managing the annual audit process and maintaining strong relationships with external auditors.
• Overseeing VAT, corporation tax, HMRC submissions and Companies House compliance.
• Acting as a finance business partner to commercial leadership, providing financial insight on contracts, pricing and renewals.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities alongside FP&A teams.
• Managing treasury, cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
• Ensuring strong financial controls and ownership of month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Overseeing payroll sign-off, supplier payments and operational finance activities.
• Driving process improvements, automation initiatives and finance transformation projects.
• Supporting group consolidation and wider global reporting requirements.
