PURE Electric is one of the UK's leading electric mobility brands, founded by entrepreneur Adam Norris in 2018. Our mission is simple: to revolutionise urban travel through innovative, accessible and sustainable electric scooters. Operating across the UK and Europe, PURE designs, develops and sells award-winning electric scooters combining cutting-edge technology with exceptional customer experience. As a fast-growing business with international operations, we continue to invest in our people, products and processes as we scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative finance team and play a key role in shaping the future of the finance function.
The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our day-to-day finance operations and help drive continuous improvement across the business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be a key member of a finance team of six, including the CFO. You will manage two direct reports and work closely alongside our Senior FP&A Analyst to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls and high-quality decision support across the business.
This role would suit an ambitious Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or someone looking to make their first move from an audit practice into industry. You'll gain broad exposure across a fast-paced international business while taking genuine ownership of core financial processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
