Role Overview
Reed are excited to exclusively partner with Dudley College on a brilliant Financial Controller position! This is a great opportunity to join a large, values-driven organisation, work closely with a positive Head of Finance. The Financial Controller will lead core financial operations and support strategic decision-making, financial sustainability and continuous improvement!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, cash flow reporting, treasury management and funding body returns.
- Support the organisation's financial strategy through budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance reporting, providing key insights to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, driving continuous improvement, process efficiencies and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support business decisions.

Requirements
- Ideally fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Ideally have experience from or an understanding of the Education sector due to the complexities of College finance.
- Strong experience producing month-end and year-end accounts, financial statements, cash flow forecasts and statutory accounts.
- Previous leadership experience with a collaborative approach and a passion for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
