About You
- Fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience with a strong management accounting background
- Experienced in month-end processes, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insight
- Highly proficient in Excel, with strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Confident working independently, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong communicator, able to build effective relationships with operational and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience within healthcare, a clinical environment or a multi-service organisation would be advantageous

About Your New Role
Always
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with the month-end close, ensuring accurate cut-offs, journal postings and financial reporting
- Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across finance processes
- Prepare financial KPIs, management reports and dashboards for senior leadership
- Support audit preparation and respond to external auditor queries
Often
- Provide financial insight to operational and clinical teams to support commercial decision-making
- Analyse profitability across service lines, procedures, cost centres and other key business areas
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and longer-term financial planning
- Assist with pricing reviews, costings, return on investment analysis and business cases
- Review cost trends and provide financial insight to support procurement and supplier decisions

Occasionally
- Support financial modelling for new services, equipment purchases and investment opportunities
- Assist with scenario planning, capacity modelling and operational growth plans
- Review and improve financial processes, reporting tools and controls
- Support revenue cycle activities, including billing accuracy, debtor monitoring and payment reconciliations
- Contribute to wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Never
- Compromise on financial accuracy, data integrity or robust internal controls
- Believe that the printer only stops working when you’re not in a rush.
