About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
- Extensive experience in SaaS or subscription-based business revenue recognition
- Proven track record supporting or leading external audits
- Strong system skills, particularly with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
- Leadership experience managing small teams and developing talent
- Experience working in multi-currency, multi-entity environments, especially UK and North America
- Excellent communicator with the ability to operate autonomously and exercise sound judgment

What you'll do
- Lead and manage the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring accuracy across complex multi-currency contracts
- Oversee the month-end close process, delivering timely, accurate management reports
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and controls
- Develop and enhance financial policies and procedures to support scalable growth
- Manage ERP system administration and integrations; champion the use of AI tools to improve efficiency
- Support team development through coaching and process documentation
- Lead tax compliance activities, including VAT, sales taxes, and R&D claims
