Financial Controller | Tadcaster | Up to £70,000 | Hybrid

You'll be joining a growing business based in Tadcaster as their Financial Controller, taking full ownership of the finance function and working directly with senior leadership. It's a role built for someone who wants to be in the room, not just sent the minutes afterwards.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning the monthly management accounts process
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
- Managing year-end accounts and the external audit
- Strengthening financial controls and reporting
- Overseeing statutory reporting and tax submissions
- Business partnering with senior leadership across the business
- Driving process improvements as the business grows
- Supervising and developing the wider finance team

- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience
- Strong technical accounting background
- Comfortable working hands-on and getting close to the detail
- Confidence influencing people outside of finance
