Vision Statement

To bring integrity, control and compliance to the UK&I financial accounts to allow the business to operate with agility and freedom, which creates the framework for the business teams to deliver the plans to become the leading brand in wellbeing. To create, monitor and deliver simple but effective controls and risk management process to the business.

Please note that this role is on a fixed term basis until 29 February 2024.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimising business processes and controls to ensure we are compliant with all legal requirements but minimal interruption to day-to-day business
  • Bring control and optimisation to our costs base and balance sheet by owning and control of spend budgets and accruals
  • Create and lead a highly motivated and engaged team who are connected to the business purpose and delivering the strategy
  • Ensuring that the UK has simple but effective controls that ensure we are audit compliant but allow the commercial and strategic teams to not be tied up in process
  • Ensuring the business has best in class risk management processes including BCP, training on key legal processes and ABC and ABF Red Book understanding
  • Oversee the delivery of spend budgets such as marketing investment and overheads with regular review, challenge and partnering of spend levels.
  • Ownership of the working capital reviews by owning the balance sheet and partnering the business on payment terms. The key lead of our cash flow and hedging
