Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the organisation's financial performance and lead the finance and administration function. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, cash flow reporting, and year-end financial statements.
- Monitoring key performance indicators, analysing departmental profitability, providing insightful financial reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Partnering with operational teams to enhance business performance.
- Managing working capital.
- Overseeing compliance and financial controls.
- Liaising with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Supporting regulatory requirements within the business.

As a member of the senior management team, you will play a key role in influencing strategic decisions and ensuring the business continues to achieve its commercial objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified (or possess equivalent relevant experience) and have proven experience within a management accounting or finance leadership role. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Experience leading and developing finance and administrative teams
- Excellent Excel and wider IT systems knowledge
- The ability to produce accurate financial reporting and meaningful business insights
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
- Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment
Experience within a multi-site or customer-focused business would be advantageous, as would knowledge of regulated finance products and associated compliance requirements.
