A fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a growing, multi-site group and take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll lead a finance team and play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting and commercially focused decision-making across the business.
The role
- Lead and develop the Finance team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee month-end, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and scenario planning.
- Provide commercial analysis and insight to the senior leadership team.
- Manage external audit, statutory accounts, VAT and wider compliance requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting across the Group.
- Drive systems and process improvements, including automation and improved data visibility.
- Partner closely with Operations and senior stakeholders to support business performance and growth.

We’re looking for
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar.
- Strong technical accounting and management accounting experience.
- Previous experience leading and developing a finance team.
- Excellent Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
- Experience across audit, statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- NetSuite and multi-entity/group experience would be highly advantageous.
- Hospitality, leisure, tourism, entertainment or other multi-site experience would be a strong plus.
