Curaleaf UK - Finance Team

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in financial controls, audit, and management accounting within a growing international organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring our financial controls are applied consistently, documented clearly, and fully audit-ready. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of new finance systems and processes.

You will work closely with the Finance and Business Controls Manager to maintain the integrity of our financial control framework. This is an individual contributor role with no line management responsibilities; you will collaborate with colleagues across the UK and Curaleaf International.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for finance processes and controls
  • Execute monthly and quarterly control activities and retain supporting evidence
  • Monitor control deadlines and follow up with colleagues to ensure timely completion
  • Verify control effectiveness and record results
  • Log identified issues and track progress through to resolution
  • Provide information and documentation to auditors and the Group controls team
  • Propose improvements to processes and controls
  • Support colleagues across the business in understanding their control responsibilities
  • Deliver additional finance support as required

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or audit role
  • Confident user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting the preparation of management accounts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear, confident communication style
  • Discreet and responsible with confidential information
  • AAT Level 3 (or equivalent), or currently studying towards this qualification

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with SOX, financial controls, or audit processes
  • Experience using Auditboard, Blackline, Sage 200, or Microsoft Business Central
  • AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)
