As a growing business in the wind industry, Storr Access is seeking an organised and experienced individual to take on the role of Finance Coordinator at our office in Broadford on the Isle of Skye.

Role Overview

Storr Access is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of our growing wind industry services business. The role will be responsible for managing core finance processes, including invoicing, purchase ledger, credit control and reconciliations, while also providing administrative support across the wider business. The successful candidate will help ensure efficient business operations and contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices
  • Tracking customer payments
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Managing supplier payments
  • Logging receipts and expenses
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Reconciling bank transactions
  • Preparing and updating cash flow forecasts
  • Assisting with monthly financial reporting
  • Liaising with external accountants and bookkeepers

Skills & Experience

  • Previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience essential
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Organised, reliable and proactive
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
