Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Audit SME to provide specialist internal audit support on a short-term engagement. The role will focus on reviewing financial crime systems and assessing whether key application controls effectively support transaction monitoring completeness, rule governance, application availability, and user access.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide SME support for an internal audit focused on financial crime controls.
- Assess whether key application controls support transaction monitoring completeness testing.
- Review transaction monitoring rules and related control design/effectiveness.
- Evaluate application availability and access management controls.
- Support audit findings, documentation, and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide practical insight into financial crime systems and control environments within financial services.

Required Experience
- Strong experience in Financial Crime
- Strong experience with Financial Crime Systems
- Proven background in Internal Audit
- Experience within Financial Services
Ideal Profile
- Deep understanding of transaction monitoring controls and financial crime frameworks.
- Experience auditing financial crime platforms and related application controls.
- Ability to operate independently and deliver SME insight in a fast-paced audit environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.
