About Suits Me
Suits Me® is a multi-award-winning, ethical fintech based in Manchester city centre, dedicated to promoting financial inclusion and equality of opportunity. We provide an innovative alternative to traditional banking, designed to meet the needs of people who are underserved or excluded by mainstream financial institutions.
Our digital current account gives customers a safe, accessible and modern way to manage their money, with a contactless Mastercard debit card, a range of banking features, cashback rewards and a simple onboarding process with no credit checks or lengthy paperwork.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Financial Crime Officer to join our Financial Crime team and play an important role in protecting our customers and business from financial crime risks.
About the Role
As a Financial Crime Officer, you'll investigate customer activity, identify potential risks and make informed, risk-based recommendations.
You'll review customer profiles, onboarding information, transactional activity and account behaviour to identify unusual or suspicious activity. You'll also communicate directly with customers where further information is needed to support your investigations.
This is a hands-on role where you'll need to combine attention to detail with good judgement and the ability to look beyond individual alerts to understand the wider customer picture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
