About the Role

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Length: 12 months

Regulated/Non-Regulated: Non-Regulated

We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Analyst to support activity across the Financial Crime Operations team. This will be a role focussed on supporting the Financial Crime Monitoring and Client Screening functions within Financial Crime Operations. The role will involve investigating unusual account activity, assessing client screening alerts, conducting risk-based investigations, and helping to ensure the firm maintains effective controls against financial crime while protecting our clients and business.

Key elements of the role may include:

  • Monitoring and analysing customer transactions and account activity to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
  • Conducting thorough investigations of flagged transactions and accounts, documenting findings and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Undertake other activities as directed by the FC Operations management team.
  • Provide support to the Head of Financial Crime Operations, or other financial crime areas as required.

About You

You will have:

  • previous experience of conducting Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Monitoring reviews in a financial services firm.
  • a good level of understanding and experience of Financial Crime across: AML/CTF; Sanctions; Anti-Bribery and Corruption; and Fraud, from a financial services company.
  • strong attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • good planning, analytical and communications (both verbal and written) skills.
  • high energy and drive and be delivery focused.
  • the ability to work well on your own or within a team.
  • a can-do attitude, and willingness to just get stuck in where help is needed.

financial crime qualifications are desirable but not essential.
