Meraki Talent are looking for a Financial Crime Project Manager to support our client within their Risk department as part of an existing large programme of work.

This role is for candidates who are experienced in project management and delivery within the Financial Crime space. You will be working closely with many teams and individuals with senior exposure, so prior experience operating within a large-scale Financial Crime project as a Project/Delivery manager will be essential.

  • Support the design and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOM)
  • Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple business areas and senior leadership teams
  • Lead Financial Crime workstreams within a large transformation programme
  • Oversee business readiness activities including communications, training, and change adoption

Experienced Required:

  • Proven Project Management or Delivery Management experience within Financial Crime programmes
  • Strong understanding of AML, Sanctions, and Financial Crime frameworks
  • Experience delivering Financial Crime operating model design and transformation initiatives
  • Track record of process optimisation and control improvement
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across senior business and risk functions
  • Experience working with workflow, case management, or Financial Crime technology solutions

Please note: This role is focused on Financial Crime transformation, operating model design, and process optimisation rather than managing remediation teams, case backlogs, or BAU KYC/AML operations. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience delivering change initiatives and working with senior stakeholders across Financial Crime functions.
