About the Role
Deloitte Talent Solutions are seeking a number of Financial Crime QA’s (Quality Assurance) within EDD, Screening, Transaction monitoring and CDD for potential roles.
Quality Assurance Analyst EDD (Global Enhanced EDD – GEDD)
To independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Financial Crime control activities, ensuring adherence to the banks policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. The role provides assurance over high-risk customer reviews, Politically Exposed Person (PEP) assessments, Enhanced Due Diligence investigations, transactional analysis reviews, screening activities, and Financial Crime Exit decisions, driving continuous improvement across Financial Crime Operations.
- Perform independent Quality Assurance reviews across GEDDs processes, including:
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews
- High-Risk Customer reviews
- PEP Individual and PEP Entity assessments
- Transactional Analysis Reviews
- Enhanced Screening Alerts
- Financial Crime Exit and Rescinded Exit decisions
Transaction Monitoring Correspondent Banking Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (AVP & Analyst)
You will apply expert judgement to challenge investigation outcomes, identify material control weaknesses and emerging risk themes, oversee remediation and appeals, and provide clear insight to senior stakeholders. As a senior subject matter expert, you will also support quality calibration, colleague accreditation, coaching and continuous improvement across the Transaction Monitoring Quality Assurance framework.

- Extensive experience in Correspondent Banking Transaction Monitoring investigations, quality assurance, quality control or a closely related financial crime role, with the ability to assess complex cross-border activity independently.
- In-depth knowledge of money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions risks relevant to Correspondent Banking, including nested relationships, payment transparency, high-risk jurisdictions, Requests for Information and suspicious activity reporting.
- Proven ability to evaluate whether investigations are complete, evidence-based and aligned with applicable policies, standards, procedures and regulatory expectations, and to apply sound judgement when determining the materiality of errors.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Quality Assurance Analyst
You will review Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) activities across Corporate Banking and Investment Banking to assess whether financial crime risks have been appropriately identified, investigated, documented and managed in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Following training and accreditation, you will apply the Quality Assurance methodology, relevant policies, standards and procedures to complete accurate, evidence-based reviews of onboarding, periodic refresh and trigger event cases, clearly record findings and support the timely remediation of identified issues.
- Experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), Financial Crime Operations, Quality Assurance, Quality Control or a related financial crime role, with exposure to Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or complex legal entity structures.
- Good working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), terrorist financing, sanctions and customer risk management requirements, including beneficial ownership, ownership and control, source of wealth, source of funds, customer risk assessments and enhanced due diligence.
- Experience reviewing onboarding, periodic review (refresh) and trigger event KYC cases, with an understanding of the key risks associated with corporate entities, financial institutions, funds, trusts and other complex customer types.

Quality Assurance Analyst – Screening Quality Assurance (Analyst)
To independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Sanctions Screening and Financial Crime screening controls, ensuring adherence to the banks policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. The role provides assurance over Customer Screening and Payment Screening alert investigations, helping to identify control weaknesses, improve decision quality, and strengthen the overall Financial Crime control environment.
The Screening QA Analyst will perform independent reviews of screening alert dispositions, sanctions investigations, escalation decisions, and related Financial Crime activities, providing risk-based assurance that potential sanctions, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, and other Financial Crime risks have been appropriately identified, investigated, and managed.
- Perform independent Quality Assurance reviews across Screening Operations processes, including:
- Customer Screening alerts
- Payment Screening alerts
- Sanctions investigations
- Name Screening reviews
- Enhanced screening and potential match assessments
- Sanctions escalations and referral decisions
- True Positive and False Positive alert determinations
- Screening-related case management and documentation
