Finance Director – Dorset – circa £120,000 + bonus
Qualified Finance Director with a solid e-commerce background is required for a growing international business based in Dorset.
We are looking for an exceptional finance leader to help scale a fast growing, internationally recognised e-commerce business operating at the highest level in its sector. With ambitious growth plans, international expansion on the horizon, and a passionate leadership team, this is an opportunity to shape the future of a market leading brand.
As Finance Director, you’ll be the strategic and operational backbone of the business, partnering closely with the CEO and Board to drive performance, manage risk, and build a finance function fit for the next stage of growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of finance, treasury, tax and company secretarial activities
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across the business
- Produce insightful Board reporting and commercial analysis
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management
- Manage banking relationships, insurance programmes and external advisors
- Support international growth, including foreign currency management and international trade considerations
- Oversee payroll, HR processes and pension administration
- Champion cost control and value focused decision making
- Optimise business systems and improve financial processes across the organisation

What We’re Looking For
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior finance leadership experience
- Must have a background in retail, e-commerce, international trade or high growth entrepreneurial businesses
- Strong commercial instincts combined with excellent technical finance expertise
- Experience producing Board packs and working directly with senior stakeholders
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail
- Hands on, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Advanced Excel and systems knowledge
