About the Role
Pinar Care is a growing care organisation seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide strategic and operational financial leadership during an important period of acquisition, integration, and organisational growth.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who can establish robust financial controls, support live acquisitions, and develop a scalable finance function. The successful candidate will also help prepare the organisation to transition from its current Sage 50 platform to Sage Intacct or a comparable multi-entity finance system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial advice and commercial insight to the Executive Director and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Lead the financial aspects of acquisitions, including financial due diligence, modelling, business-case evaluation, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Establish and strengthen financial systems, controls, policies, and governance arrangements across the group.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, management accounts, and Board reporting.
  • Oversee statutory accounting, taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor the financial performance of acquired businesses against agreed business cases.
  • Lead the development of scalable multi-entity financial reporting.
  • Plan and support the future transition from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct or a comparable platform.
  • Oversee payroll governance, supplier payments, banking, reconciliations, and other financial operations.
  • Build and develop the Finance function as the organisation grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
