About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to build the finance function from the ground up, at one of the UK's fastest-growing foodtech companies, innovating the next generation of beverages, both under our own brands and for white-label partners.

We're entering an exciting new phase of growth, with significant expansion ahead, particularly into the US market, alongside new products, partnerships, and commercial opportunities. We're looking for a commercially sharp Financial Director who wants to play a central role in that journey.

This is a genuine seat at the table, not a back-office reporting role. You'll work directly with the CEO and Board, combining strong financial leadership with commercial thinking to help shape where the business goes next. As we scale over the next 12-24 months, there are significant opportunities for career growth and building a team around you.

What You'll Do

  • Own financial control, accounting, statutory reporting, and audits
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, Board reporting, and KPI dashboards
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital, including vendor financing and factoring
  • Build financial models to support new product launches, capex, international expansion, and strategic initiatives
  • Partner closely with operational and commercial leaders on pricing, margin, and profitability
  • Provide the financial insight behind key growth and investment decisions
  • Build and develop the finance team as the business scales
  • Report directly to the CEO and Board

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, share scheme, and excellent perks
  • A genuine leadership role with direct exposure to the CEO and Board
  • The opportunity to have a meaningful influence on a rapidly growing UK business and its US expansion
  • The chance to shape, build, and ultimately lead the finance function rather than inherit a finished one
