Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director with 8–10 years of experience to lead our international finance function across our London and other European offices, reporting to a Group CFO in India.
This is a hands-on, highly strategic role reporting directly to the CEO and Group CFO of our parent company. As a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging commercial strategy with operational depth to drive business growth.
Action-Oriented Core Responsibilities
Drive Financial Intelligence & Reporting:
- Deliver monthly financials including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for London, Paris, and consolidated views.
- Provide detailed variance analyses comparing actuals against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and historical periods.
- Present granular financial insights to Executive Leadership and parent company stakeholders in India.

Lead Global Teams & Compliance
- Manage a cross-border finance team distributed across London, Paris, and India supporting management and statutory reporting.
- Lead quarterly limited reviews strictly aligned with Indian public listing norms for the parent entity.
- Coordinate annual statutory audits and manage relationships with auditors, accountants, and banking partners.
- Oversee regional legal functions ensuring full tax compliance and corporate governance across jurisdictions.
Partner with Business Strategy
- Collaborate directly with the CEO, UK/India Board Directors, and CXOs to execute key business initiatives.
- Develop robust pricing strategies and complex costing models to track project delivery performance metrics.
- Build financial scenario models and forward-looking forecasts to guide investor and executive decisions.
- Optimize financial oversight across high-value projects and provide ad-hoc guidance on UK/international tax credits and R&D claims.

Required Skills and Attributes
Must-Have Experience
- ACCA or ICAEW with 8–10 years of senior financial leadership experience (e.g., FD or Senior Financial Controller) in growth or project-based environments.
- Strong international accounting expertise with multi-location oversight and statutory reporting.
- Expert financial modelling skills with a commercially astute mindset focused on business scalability.
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing remote or cross-border teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- VFX or creative industry experience
- Familiarity with Indian listing regulations or working with an Indian parent company.
