Finance Director | High-Growth Tech / SaaS Scale-Up | London Hybrid

£150,000–£170,000 plus bonus and equity

I'm currently partnering with a high-growth Tech / SaaS business as they look to appoint a Finance Director to support the next phase of their growth journey.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible leadership role combining commercial finance, strategic planning, operational excellence and team leadership. The business has experienced significant growth over recent years and is looking for an ambitious finance leader who can help scale the function while acting as a key partner to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the finance function in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Managing and mentoring a high-performing finance team across FP&A, Financial Control, and Finance Operations
  • Owning budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Delivering board packs, management reporting, and KPI analysis
  • Partnering with the leadership team to drive strategic decision-making and business performance
  • Developing SaaS and recurring revenue reporting, providing insight into key growth metrics
  • Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams on commercial initiatives and performance improvement
  • Supporting pricing strategy, commission structures, and commercial decision-making
  • Driving finance transformation, automation, and systems improvement projects
  • Enhancing financial controls, governance, and reporting processes as the business continues to scale
  • Supporting international growth, including entity set-up, compliance, and operational expansion
  • Acting as a key stakeholder for strategic growth initiatives and future fundraising activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
