Job Title: Finance Director

Location: Blackburn (hybrid)
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

Service Care are delighted to be working with a long-standing client of ours as they look for a Finance Director to join their growing organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and performance of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a similar role and have experience with M&A and PE.

What you will be doing:

  • Acting as the main point of contact to the CEO providing insight, recommendations, and action where required.
  • Reviewing and presenting monthly packs for the board.
  • Leading the Finance team and supporting their performance and development by setting and measuring group KPIs.
  • Responsible for all group reporting including, monthly management accounts with associated MI, quarterly reforecasting, annual budgeting.
  • Process improvement including improving WIP and debt management.
  • Leading M&A local including due diligence and integration.
  • Supporting with systems implementation and improvement.
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the organisational representative at the monthly site partner meetings.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

What you will have:

  • Prior experience within a Finance Director/Controller position.
  • QBE or ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience using Xero (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to explain financial situations to non-finance staff.
