Finance Director

Renumeration: £130,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity

Finatal have partnered with a PE-backed healthcare services group with revenues exceeding £50m is seeking a Finance Director to support its next phase of significant growth and value creation. Operating a multi-site platform across the UK, the business is delivering strong organic growth alongside strategic acquisitions and is targeting a successful exit within the next few years.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will act as a key member of the leadership team, partnering with the Board, investors and operational stakeholders to drive performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic growth initiatives.

This is a high-profile role offering significant exposure to Private Equity, M&A activity and exit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow and financial performance management.
  • Provide commercial insight and strategic support to the CFO and executive team.
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, efficiency and growth.
  • Prepare board packs, investor reporting and lender presentations.
  • Support acquisitions, integration activity and value creation initiatives.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead finance transformation, systems improvements and reporting enhancements.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Finance Director, Financial Controller or Head of Finance experience within a PE-backed healthcare, care, multi-site or regulated environment.
  • Strong track record in business partnering, financial planning and performance improvement.
  • Experience working with investors, boards and senior leadership teams.
  • Exposure to M&A, integrations and growth-focused environments.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Resilient, ambitious and comfortable operating within a fast-paced PE-backed environment.
