Finance Director – High Growth Business
SF Executive are working exclusively with a high-growth business to recruit a Finance Director.
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a business with ambitious growth plans over the next three years. Reporting directly into the CFO, you will take responsibility for the core finance function and lead an established team.
There has already been significant investment into the finance team and systems, so this isn't about coming into a broken function. The focus is around taking what is already there and making sure Finance is set up properly for the next stage of growth.

There will be three main areas of focus within the role: Financial Control, Billing & AR and Finance Systems. We are looking for somebody who can lead from the front across these areas, improve processes and controls, drive further automation and really look at what best practice should be as the business continues to grow.
Key Requirements:
- Open-minded on background. You could already be a Finance Director, or you could be a strong Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance who is ready to make the next step.
- Experience within a PE-backed, technology or high-growth business would be helpful, but it isn't essential. More important is that you have worked within a business of reasonable scale (c.£100M turnover), understand what a good finance function looks like and can demonstrate where you have improved controls, systems and processes.
- Ambitious, confident and hands-on who can lead a team but is still happy to get into the detail when needed.

Role Details:
- The role is West Midlands based.
- You will need to be in the office three days a week.
